Bears sign 1st-round pick S Dillon Thieneman, 2nd-rounder Logan Jones

Thieneman, 21, was selected with the 25th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft out of Oregon.
The total contract value for his draft slot is $19.5 million for four years, and he is eligible for a fifth-year option.
Thieneman recorded 96 tackles and two interceptions in 15 games during his lone season with the Ducks in 2025.
He recorded eight interceptions and 306 tackles (10 for losses) in 39 games with Purdue (2023-24) and Oregon.
Jones, 24, was the 57th overall selection in the draft out of Iowa.
A 2025 All-American and two-time All-Big Ten first-team selection, Jones started 51 games at center for the Hawkeyes. He won the 2025 Rimington Trophy as the best center in college football.
The four-year contract value for Jones' draft slot is $8.47 million.
According to NFL Network, Thieneman's signing leaves seven first-round picks who have yet to agree to terms.
